The Advisory Design Panel is to provide professional and community advice to assist Council and Staff in evaluating the design merits of select development applications, including consideration of draft design guidelines or policies to ensure that the form and character of future development is of a high quality and meets the needs of the community.

ADP meetings are open to the public; individuals are welcome to observe these meetings via Zoom, via telephone, or in person. Applicants and Staff will present materials and respond to questions from ADP members to inform the advice to Council from the ADP. All items presented to the ADP are forwarded to Council for final consideration along with the ADP’s advice and comments.

I encourage you attend if it fits your schedule. Signing on to Zoom or turning up to meetings keeps us front and centre with staff and elected officials at these meetings.

There is no opportunity for public input at this meeting. Council values public participation and input at its Council and Committee of the Whole meetings in accordance with the Council Procedure Bylaw.
