Travelbea Open House for 960 Foul Bay: This Tuesday April 15 6-8 pm

Jennifer Travelbea and her project team (likely her architects, Mark Holland and others) are holding an open house for the 960 Foul Bay Rd. project. 

The open house is at Oak Bay United Church at 1355 Mitchell St. on Tuesday April 15 from 6-8 pm.

If you would like to voice your opinion to the Travelbeas and their group about the following, or anything else please attend. 

• Safety of Brighton Greenway users (Driveway access to the townhomes will cut across a new sidewalk and the Greenway)

• Greenspace and Travelbea's plan to cut down all Garry Oaks, cut down some Garry Oaks on neighbours' properties, and damage/risk root zones of Garry Oaks on neighbours' properties.

• Complete disregard for zoning and the current OCP for building heights, setbacks, lot coverage, tree removal etc.

• The Travelbea development sets a horrible precedent for historic Foul Bay Rd. and Brighton Greenway in Oak Bay, Victoria and other greenways in the CRD. Do you want this Greenway and others to be a Greenway or an Urban Alley?

While this project provides much needed housing for the community, it completely disregards the community's concerns and the Official Community Plan of Oak Bay. As a reminder, we are not against development, we are requesting input and collaboration with the Travelbeas.
